What we set, why, and how to change your preference. Written in plain English.

What cookies are
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They are used to keep the site running, to remember your preferences, and to understand how the site is used.
You can accept, reject, or change your preference at any time using the cookie banner at the bottom of the page on your first visit, or your browser settings. Strictly necessary cookies cannot be disabled because the site will not work without them.
Strictly necessary
Used to keep the site running and to record your cookie preference. These do not track you across other sites.
- bw-cookie-consent: records your accept-or-reject choice so we do not show the banner again. Stored in your browser for one year.
Analytics (with your consent)
If you accept analytics cookies, we use Microsoft Clarity to understand which parts of the site are helping visitors find what they need. Clarity records anonymous session video and click-paths with form fields and other personal-data inputs masked by default.
- _clck and _clsk: set by Microsoft Clarity to distinguish unique visitors and to persist session state.
Microsoft is the data processor. We are the data controller. You can opt out at any time by changing your cookie preference.
Marketing
We do not currently set marketing or advertising cookies on this site. If that changes, we will add the relevant categories to the consent banner and you will be asked again before any new tag fires.
Third-party content
Some pages may embed content from other services (for example, a map tile or a calendar widget). Those services may set their own cookies. Where possible we load them only after you have given consent. You can review their cookie policies on their own sites.
Managing your cookies
You can change or withdraw your consent at any time. Clear the bw-cookie-consent entry from your browser storage and reload, and the banner will reappear.
You can also block, delete, or restrict cookies in your browser settings. Disabling cookies will not affect your ability to browse the site.
Updates
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top of this page is the date of the most recent revision. Material changes will be flagged on the site for 30 days from the change date.
Questions about cookies or tracking can be sent to sales@thebathworks.co.uk.
